Hello everyone! My name is Gianna Giordano, welcome to my teacher website. On this website I have lesson plans, centers, my philosophy, and projects I have done throughout the semester. Being a teacher is not a job that can be done independently. I have this website here to share resources that I have used throughout student teaching and will use in my own classroom. I just graduated with my bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education Pk-4 from Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania. I completed my student teaching in kindergarten and fourth-grade. Having the opportunity to teach in two different grades made me a better teacher. I was able to see the difference in the curriculum and how different the two age groups are teaching. Being in the classroom has prepared me well for when I have my own classroom. 

 

Something I have always been passionate about is working with children. I have been babysitting different children from ages 0-12 years old. Working with kids has always put a smile on my face. I love to be a positive influence in their lives. I didn't always know I wanted to be a teacher but when I started college I started taking education classes because I did enjoy working with children and wanted to see what being a teacher was all about. I loved it, as I was going to school I had the opportunity to work with many different children and being apart if their lives and an inspiration to them. It inspired me to be a better teacher for these young minds. I can't wait to have my own classroom and grow with those kiddos!
